Die Antwoord

Die Antwoord observed that journalists and critics, particularly in the United States, frequently ask if their creative output is a joke or a hoax. When asked if he was playing a character, Ninja said, "Ninja is, how can I say, like Superman is to Clark Kent. The only difference is I don't take off this Superman suit." They have described their work as "documentary fiction" and "exaggerated experience" designed for shock value.
People are unconscious, and you have to use your art as a shock machine to wake them up. Some people are too far gone. They'll just keep asking, "Is it real? Is it real?" That's dwanky. That's a word they have in South Africa, "dwanky." It's like lame. "Is it real?" You have to be futuristic and carry on. You have to be a good guide to help people get away from a dull experience.
The Die Antwoord group is quite strange and may come off as completely different from the norm, however they draw extreme amounts of crowds and attention.  Also, the Die Antwoord group combines a plethora of art and technology advances that help them get their message across.

What is Art & Technology?

What is art? Technology? What are they together? Why are you interested in it?

Art is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.
Technology is the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes, especially in industry.
Art can be described as many things. Everything around us is considered art because it was designed by someone to have a specific look and feel. Art may have a message to portray to a viewer or it may be used solely to accomplish other tasks. Technology is often thought up by either a person or group of people to make lives easier.
